Tuition Affordability

Tuition Incentive Program

For K-8 students only

Hillel’s Tuition Incentive Program is available to new and existing families with an income between $150,000 and $300,000 and net assets under $500,000 (excluding primary residence and retirement accounts). By completing a simple one page form and submitting the first two pages of 2019 IRS Tax Form 1040, a family participating in this program may see a tuition adjustment up to $5,000 per child. There is no fee to participate in this program.

Eligibility Requirements

2021-2022 Rising Kindergarten - 8th grade Hillel families:

Submit by January 8, 2021:

  • 1-page asset form and questionnaire
  • 2019 IRS Form 1040 with supporting schedules

Submit by April 20, 2021:

  • 2020 IRS Form 1040 with supporting schedules
Families new to Hillel for 2021-2022
  • Admissions application submitted to Hillel Academy
  • Within two weeks of submitting an admissions application, submit:
    • 1-page asset form and questionnaire
    • 2019 IRS Form 1040 with supporting schedules (2020 IRS Form 1040 if it is after April 20, 2021)

Additional Information

  • Families renew their participation annually
  • Families with an income in excess of $300,000 and have four or more children may also participate
  • Divorced/Separated families must each submit an application
  • Based upon submitted documents, Hillel Academy may decide:
    • A family does not qualify; or recommend to,
    • Participate in the Variable Tuition Program

Variable Tuition

Limited in Early Learning Center

Families who do not qualify for the Tuition Incentive Program may participate in the Variable Tuition Program through FACTS. FACTS is a confidential third-party financial evaluator and will recommend a unique tuition based upon income, expenses, debts, and assets. Option #2 is a lengthier process and there is a small fee, charged by FACTS, to participate.

Eligibility Requirements

2020-2021 Hillel families:

Submit by January 8, 2021 an application in “Good” standing:

Because it may take a few times to attain an application in “Good” standing, it is recommended that families begin this process early.

Families new to Hillel for 2021-2022
  • Admissions application submitted to Hillel Academy
  • Within two weeks of submitting an admissions application, submit:
    • An application to FACTS in “Good” standing
